We are on a journey seeking Truth, both the person and His revelation, through Scripture. If what we call the Bible today is truly God's word, then it is without contradiction in the original languages, can be taken literally unless otherwise stated, is understandable through the revelation of His Spirit, and is eternally relevant. The things we post here are written from that position. Feel free to offer critique through our contact page as long as it comes from that position. We would love to hear from you!

The Principle of the Cross
Have you ever wondered how the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit have existed in close proximity for all eternity and never had the first argument?  This excerpt from the writings of Bob Warren expresses that truth very well.
The Five Jewish Covenants
Bob Warren used to say that if you take Israel out of the picture, world history doesn't make any sense.  The Five Jewish Covenants are a huge piece of the puzzle when trying to understand Jewish history.
Predestination
This post reveals what we consider to be the scripturally faithful view and meaning of predestination.  Enjoy!
This brief article quickly outlines what transpires in a person the instant he or she expresses faith in Jesus Christ.
The Cahog
This famous excerpt from Bob's Romans 1-8 Course is a great illustration of how the new nature impacts the believer.
Father's Dwelling Place
Some of our thoughts on how the fall of mankind, Israel, the temples, redemption, and much more dovetail perfectly into God's eternal plan.
Over the years we have seen that agreeing on rules for proper biblical interpretation is a necessity before meaningful discussion of doctrine.  These are some guidelines we follow at The Hill.
We in the body of Christ have an unfortunate skill for picking sides and dividing ourselves over meaningless points of doctrine. One that has been particularly divisive in the last century is baptism.  Let's take a look at it.
A huge debate exists concerning whether the soul is part of the new man, neutral, or perhaps unredeemed until a later time.  It seems pretty clear to us and here's why.
God's Appointed Times
The Lord told Israel to proclaim His appointed times as holy convocations or feasts.  These are the seven feasts they were commanded to observe before the world as a prophetic declaration of what was to come throughout history.
For such a small book of the Bible, Ruth packs a mighty punch.  It foreshadows redemption through Jesus and is loaded with principles for life and leadership.
Becoming A Follower of Jesus We had a request from a friend of the ministry for a very simple presentation of the gospel and how to be born again.  The final product will end up on our regular site for those who find their way there for whatever reason.  Please let us know if you have any suggestions.  Just remember we are shooting for simple, not extensive.
Bob employed a simple diagram of circles to explain the dynamics in the walk of Christians from new birth to rest and the diversions many take instead of going deeper.
Most of us were taught incorrectly about judgment in Scripture.  In many cases it was used as a tool for manipulation leading to fear, not freedom.  The truth about the judgment to come should actually bring peace and freedom.
